The Computer Science Engineering Department, conducted a 2-Day Workshop on “Block Chain Technology “, during 21-22 February 2018, in association with the most prospectively working Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Academy (APITA), for the enthusiastic Computer Science and Information Technology Engineers.

This 2-day Workshop focused on the basics of Blockchain Technology and know-how of building BlockChain applications and hands-on workshop for developing a prototype of a successful Blockchain application using the knowledge of various technological platforms accrued from it.

Sri Sagar, in this regard informed that Sri Srikanth Ayulasomayajulu, a famous Big Data Architect, Block Chain Developer & a Machine Learning Expert, Mr. A Ahmad Nazeer & Mr.Rohit, Blockchain Developers, of Idea Labs Pvt.Ltd., Hyderabad, were the scholarly resource persons for this workshop.

Sri Srikanth during his inaugural speech motivated the participants about the importance of having the knowledge on Blockchain Technology and a hands-on practical exposure to develop applications in that technology. He congratulated all participants for imbibing entire information from this workshop and wished them to put it into practice to quickly befit to the industry. He said this technological revolution will transform the financial structure of the Globe. He believed that an impeccable implementation of Virtual currency has ability to reduce the crimes & increase the sophistry in the society.

The other resource persons while addressing the participants stated that virtual currency is going to replace the physical currency totally in a few years as it is the fastest form of financial transaction in the supply chain management. Sri Srikanth commended the efforts of VVIT for magnanimously organizing this kind of workshops for the better future of the Computer Science & Engineering Students with a clear foresight on the changes in IT Industry across the world.

Sri M.SatyaRatnam, District Development Manager, APITA, congratulated all the participants who completed the workshop and wished them to become master in the Blockchain Technology. Sri Ratnam said that AP state government under the prophetic vision of Hon.ble’ Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, has a consistent plan to conduct even more events as this, to enlighten the young and enthusiastic Computer Science, Information Technology students to make them highly skilled and to participate in the transformation of financial structure of India.  Sri Ratnam also commended the efforts of VVIT for maintaining conducive environment for this workshop.

Sri M.Sreerishna, Joint Secretary, VVIT, in this regard stated that VVIT is always a step ahead in conducting this kind of advanced workshops for the involvement of their students in every revolutionary technological transformation that happens around the world in different domains such as this in financial domain.  Sri Krishna, in this regard emphasized that they are very fortunate to work in association with APITA.

 Dr.Y.Mallikarjuna Reddy, Principal of the Host institute, congratulated the participants and wished them to continue to work on virtual currency clichés and the Blockchain Technology software. Dr.Reddy also advised them to inculcate the habit of lifelong learning for their better future. Dr.R.Eswariah, HOD, Computer Science Engineering Department, informed that the vital objectives of this workshop were planned meticulously within the 2 days span of time. Dr.Eswar stated that, the workshop focused on Etherium Blockchain Platform, Solidify Programming Language, Remix IDX, Idea, Evaluations in a sufficient manner. 

The workshop also included with significant amount of hands-on laboratory sessions for making it fruitful. During the valedictory function the Idea Labs Pvt.Ltd, Technical Experts were felicitated by the VVIT Chairman Sri Sagar and management members as a token of respect for their valuable sessions.
